1. Using Realmstride

These terms govern the Realmstride website, browser game and private playtests provided by Worldweft Studio. By using these services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

You must be able to agree to these terms under the laws that apply to you. If parental or guardian permission is required, obtain it before using the service. Online accounts are not available to users below the age required to consent to online services in their country.

2. Experimental and free service

Realmstride is in active development. Features, balancing, content and access may change. Bugs, interruptions, temporary restrictions and changes that require progress resets can occur during testing. We will communicate planned resets or required player actions when practical. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent preservation of prototype progress or a particular release date.

The current prototype has no purchase requirement. These terms do not authorize charges, subscriptions or future paid features. Any such features would need their own clear information and applicable terms before purchase.

3. Local and Online modes

• Local: gameplay and character progress are stored on your device. You can play without an online account. After the necessary game files are available on your device, network availability does not determine local economic progression. Initial loading and updates may still require a connection.
• Online, where enabled: gameplay remains largely local, while the service maintains official online account, inventory and economic/progression records. A network connection is needed for authentication and official operations. A temporary disconnection may leave actions pending; it does not guarantee that every offline action will be accepted later.
• Separation: Local characters do not participate in online rankings, online trading or other online features. An exported local save is not evidence of ownership of online rewards. Do not attempt to import or fabricate local economic value as official online progress.

Online displays may predict an action before the server finishes processing it. The confirmed online result determines the official state. This prototype's safeguards do not establish that every client-reported combat event has been independently verified, and we do not promise cheat-proof gameplay.

4. Accounts, saves and recovery

Use an email address or identity-provider account you are entitled to use. Protect your sign-in account and avoid sharing sessions, codes or tokens. If access fails or you suspect unauthorized activity, contact support.

Local saves belong to a particular browser/device storage area. Clearing browser data, changing origins or losing a device can make them unavailable. Export backup copies when needed. Online recovery also depends on account access and the availability of the experimental service; it is not a guarantee that every lost action or save can be restored.

To stop using Online or request account/data deletion, contact support@playrealmstride.com. Data requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting a local character does not by itself delete an online account.

5. Fair play and acceptable use

Do not exploit online bugs to duplicate rewards, fabricate official items/currency/progression, manipulate rankings, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malware, or deliberately disrupt the service. Do not harass others or submit unlawful material through support or future social features. Report suspected exploits privately to support.

We may pause affected operations or restrict an online account to investigate abuse or protect service integrity. When feasible, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contest a mistake through support. Urgent security action may occur before that explanation. This does not remove rights you have under applicable law.

6. Virtual items and future online features

Items, gold and progression are game features, not money, investments or property redeemable for cash. These terms do not create a right to sell or trade them outside the game. Public rankings, player trading, social spaces and competitive modes are not promised by this prototype; availability and rules will be explained if those features are introduced.

7. Game content and your material

We allow you to access and play the game for personal use, subject to these terms and applicable law. Game branding, artwork, code and other content remain subject to the rights of their respective owners and any licenses distributed with them. These terms do not override open-source or third-party licenses.

You keep rights you already hold in feedback, screenshots and other material you submit. Sending material to support allows us to use it to address your request and improve the reported issue; it does not transfer ownership of all your material to us.

8. Responsibility and applicable rights

Use the prototype with an understanding of its experimental status and the possibility of interruptions or lost progress. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will always be available or free from errors. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or waives consumer, privacy or other mandatory rights where the law does not allow that exclusion.

Third-party sign-in and infrastructure services have their own terms and policies. We remain responsible for our own obligations; using a provider does not remove rights you may have against us.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the prototype evolves. We will identify the effective date and communicate material changes before they take effect. Additional acceptance will be requested where required. Changes do not retroactively authorize charges.
